Jankovic warns Palermo

Bosko Jankovic has warned Palermo he's ready to ask away.

"I haven't played very much so far," he told Gazzetta dello Sport. "When Stefano Colantuono was in charge he said I couldn't be used because I spent so much time away with my national team, so I didn't train with the side regularly. I never understood that excuse.

"Francesco Guidolin called me a couple of times and said I don't speak much Italian and he doesn't know me at all. It's clear by giving this interview that I can speak the language and hope to get on the field more often."

The midfielder's agent Zoran Stoiadinovic is set to meet with Palermo directors.

"He will talk to the directors about my future. I do not regret coming to Palermo because I love Italian football. Someone who plays well here can succeed anywhere. But I want to know what destiny holds for me."
