Jamie Mackie hopes to make his comeback for QPR - in the Premier League.

The striker is on the mend from the double leg-break he suffered playing for Queens Park Rangers against Blackburn in the FA Cup in January.

And with his team flying high at the top of the Championship, Mackie is confident his next appearance in a Hoops shirt will be in the Premier League.

He said: "They reckon in pre-season I'll be as fit as anyone else and I'd love to be a Premier League player by then. Getting promoted is a great thought to have in your head."
