James on way out at Portsmouth

David James is almost certain to leave Portsmouth before the transfer window closes.

The England international goalkeeper is keen to depart the south coast club as he believes his World Cup chances will suffer with the lack of depth in the Pompey squad.

Tottenham, Stoke and Sunderland are all keen on the 39-year old with Spurs believed to be the frontrunner for his services.
