England are battling Jamaica for Newcastle United sensation Rolando Aarons.
The 18-year-old Toon winger is wanted by Jamaica, the country of his birth, after coming to their attention following some sparkling pre-season displays, says the Daily Star.
But the FA have got wind of Jamaica's interest and are keen for the teenager to commit himself to England, where he has lived for most of his life.
Aarons has come from nowhere to force his way into Alan Pardew's first team plans.
