Jake Livermore hopes to prove himself at Tottenham this season.
Livermore, who has spent the last two years on loan with Championship sides, hopes the opportunity of playing in the Europa League will convince his manager that he can cut it at the highest level.
"I'm hoping the Europa League can be a little shop window for me where I can get some games and show the manager what I can do," Livermore, who made a second-half substitute appearance against Athletic Bilbao on Saturday, said.
"Hopefully from there I can start getting some Premier League starts and cement a place."
