Krzysztof Krol has joined Chicago Fire on loan from Polish club Jagiellonia Bia?ystok.

The 22-year old Polish left-back will become a Fire player for the 2010 season pending a visa and International Transfer Certificate.

Krol played with Real Madrid reserves in 2007 and 2008 after beginning his professional career with Dyskobolia Grodzisk in 2006.

He joined Jagiellonia in July '08 and will now saddle up with the Fire - a move he is very excited about.

"I'm excited to be joining a great club like the Chicago Fire and am looking forward to meeting my new teammates, the Chicago Fire staff and all the great fans of the Chicago Fire," said Krol.
