Everton defender Phil Jagielka insists they go to Standard Liege confident of getting a result after a 2-2 draw in the first-leg of their UEFA Cup tie on Thursday.
"It was a little bit frustrating to concede two goals at home," he told evertonTV. "But to come back twice and score the two goals means we are level pegging going into the second game.
"We have had to show that a little bit too often in recent games. We are not too happy with the way we have been conceding but thankfully we have been scoring enough to keep us in the games.
"I think there have been a few chops and changes so hopefully we can iron out the mistakes and start keeping a few clean sheets.
"They played on the counter and the goals they got gave them confidence. We go there knowing that if we win the game we are through."
Jagielka also spoke of his relief at being back in a more familiar position.
"The gaffer told me I would only be in midfield for a short time, thankfully it was!" he added. "Hopefully we can start being a bit more solid at the back now."
