Everton’s Phil Jagielka was full of praise for the clubs younger players in the wake of Sunday’s1-1 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
On-loan Barcelona starlet Gerard Deulofeu scored a brilliant equaliser for the Toffees in the 84th minute after Mesut Ozil’s opener four minutes earlier to give the visitors a deserved share of the points.
After the match, Jagielka indicated that the likes of Deuloefu as well as energetic midfielder Ross Barkley kept the older Toffees players feeling young.
"Fantastic – on the training ground they keep us young, we've got some fantastic young lads,” he told Sky Sports.
"It's exciting times, he (Barkley) has just got to keep on doing things he does well and maybe work on things he does not do so well."
