Jadon Sancho is ready to sign terms with Manchester City.

The Manchester Evening News says City are confident Sancho will sign a new long-term contract, despite interest from Arsenal.

Sancho is seen as one of the brightest prospects at the club's academy - but has also caught the eye of Premier League rivals.

Arsenal are believed to be leading the chase for his signature - prompting City to open contract negotiations with a player they signed from Watford for £500,000 in n 2015.

The club are said to be comfortable with the way those talks are progressing.
