Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan has expanded his board.
The Sun says Whelan has given chief executive Jonathan Jackson a seat on the board.
Jackson, who was appointed in 2010, continues to follow in the footsteps of father Stan, the former director and president who persuaded Whelan to join the club in 1995.
