Jack Wilshere is expected to be on the bench for Arsenal today against Norwich City.

The midfielder was not expected to feature in the first-team squad until the October 30 Capital One Cup clash at Reading.

Wilshere's agent Simon Bayliff revealed his squad return on Twitter yesterday.

But then French rookie Francis Coquelin, who was to be an Arsenal sub at Carrow Road, pulled up in training with a knee injury.

So his absence means Arsene Wenger will put Wilshere on the bench.
