Jack Wilshere could quit Arsenal in January to rescue his England World Cup hopes.
The Times says Wilshere, who has recovered from a fractured leg suffered while playing for Bournemouth in April, is eager for more match time at club level to enhance his chances of playing for England again.
Wilshere, whose Arsenal contract runs out at the end of the season, has impressed for the Gunners since recovering from his latest setback, starring most recently in the club's 4-2 victory over BATE Borisov in the Europa League.
However, the 25-year-old has yet to feature in the Premier League for Arsenal this season with Arsene Wenger determined not to rush him back.
