Southampton midfielder Jack Cork has fully recovered from his ankle injury.
The Team GB star hasn't played this season due to the setback.
"I've watched most of the games this season and the lads have done really well," he told the Saints website.
"They've kept the ball, worked hard as a team, nearly beat both Man City and Man United, and came close against Wigan.
"It's been disappointing having to watch the games so far and have nothing to do with it so I'm looking forward to trying to get back into the team as quickly as possible.
"I'm going to keep stepping up my training and I've played a game now, so at the minute I just want to be involved because it's been a difficult time."
