Championship outfit Reading are eyeing up a move for Robbie Keane, according to reports from the Daily Star.

Keane will become a free transfer in January following his exit from MLS outfit LA Galaxy and the former Republic of Ireland international is attracting a lot of interest from clubs in England at the moment.

Now according to reports, claims have been made that the Royals are hopeful of signing Keane as manager Jaap Stam is looking to bolster the attacking lineup of his promotion-chasing side.

Former Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool striker Keane has also been linked with a potential move to the A-League with Brisbane Roar.
