Izaguirre set for much-anticipated Celtic return

Reigning Scottish Premier League Player of the Season, Emilio Izaguirre, is set for a Celtic return.

The Hoops left-back has been sidelined since August after breaking his ankle against Aberdeen but is a chance of taking part in the December 28 Old Firm meeting with Rangers at Parkhead.

Izaguirre has been included in recent squads by Neil Lennon and even traveled to Italy for the Europa League clash with Udinese last week and will now be considered for the visit of ‘Gers after he takes part in a bounce match at Lennoxtown this week.
