Yann Ekra is looking to make his home in Philadelphia after recently signing with the Union.
The 22-year old Ivory Coast striker, who has had stints with Lyon, Hull City, Panionios and Harrisburg City Islanders, joined the Union last week and is now hoping to lay down his roots and settle somewhere for a while.
"I would like to stay in one place," Ekra said. "And I hope it's going to be here."
And if comments made by head coach John Hackworth are anything to go by, Ekra will be spending a bit of time in and around Phillie.
"This signing is, I think, more for the future than for an immediate need," Hackworth said.
"That doesn't mean he won't have a chance to play because we definitely need to change some things and find a little bit of a spark. And he certainly has given that to us in the brief time he's been here."
