Arsenal young gun Serge Gnabry has emerged as a possible candidate for Ivory Coast's World Cup squad.
The German-born midfielder is eligible to play for the Elephants because of his father's nationality and the Federation Ivoirienne de Football may look to steal a march on the Germans.
Gnabry, who recently signed a long-term deal with the Gunners, has played for Die Mannschaft at youth level but the Ivorians are hoping the lure of a World Cup will entice him to switch allegiances.
