The Ivory Coast FA are confident of Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha switching his allegiance from England.
The Croydon Advertiser says Zaha was recently pictured with the Ivory Coast shirt after a request was submitted to Fifa for him to switch international allegiance, having previously played two friendlies for England.
But newly-appointed England boss Gareth Southgate, who was in the stands at Selhurst Park on Saturday as the Eagles beat Southampton, has reportedly not given up hope of convincing Zaha to stick with England.
He said at the weekend that he wanted to speak with Zaha before a decision was made, but the Ivorian FA vice-president, Malick Tohe, has told the BBC he expects the winger's switch to be approved.
