Chelsea attacker Salomon Kalou has been cleared of any serious knee damage by the Ivory Coast national team.
The 26-year old limped out of the Elephants' 2-0 African Cup of Nations win over Burkina Faso in Malabo yesterday but team doctors were able to assess the injury and are confident it is nothing more than a slight mishap.
"It was more of a scare than any damage, Kalou felt pain behind the thigh but it's not a hamstring or tear," Ivory Coast's press officer told AFP.
