Stoke City are confident signing Wolfsburg striker Ivica Olic in the summer.
The Sentinel says Olic visited the Potteries to meet Mark Hughes on Monday and remains in talks about joining the club next season.
The 34-year-old has had a counter offer to stay at present club Wolfsburg after his contract runs up in the summer. He has promised to announce his decision imminently.
Stoke are believed to have the upper hand in negotiations, with Olic favouring a two-year deal rather than the one-year option on the table at Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg.
