ITV are ready to buy the rights of Liverpool's US-produced reality TV show.

The Sunday Mirror says Liverpool is opening the doors of the dressing room and even the boardroom to television cameras.

ITV is in talks to buy the rights to the reality show, which is thought to feature Anfield stars, including captain Steven Gerrard and striker Andy Carroll.

Liverpool chairman Tom Werner said: "I expect it will be compelling programming as Liverpool will provide unprecedented access."

Filming of six-part documentary Our Liverpool: Never Walk Alone began at the end of last season when the players were preparing to face Chelsea in the FA Cup Final.

The programme, being produced by US channel Fox, captures a period of change in which Kenny Dalglish was axed as manager and replacement Brendan Rodgers took the reigns.

Mr Werner said: "This will be an amazing opportunity for our fans to see a new side of the club and for us to reach out to potential supporters worldwide who will come to understand what makes Liverpool FC so special."
