Italian technical chief Azeglio Vicini says the nation should be proud of Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli's move to Manchester City.
Vicini, a former Italy coach, insists Balotelli's move abroad can work in the Azzurri's favour.
"We should be proud of our players going abroad, returning profits to the national team. In Brazil and Argentina it's worked for years, we should also benefit," said Vicini.
Roberto Baggio has been linked with Vicini's job and he added: "Baggio in my place? No-one has said anything yet. Of course, I am no longer a boy .... "
