Italy defender Leonardo Bonucci was positive about the youth of England's national team.
The Juventus centre-back was part of the Azzurri side that drew 1-1 with the Three Lions in Turin on Tuesday night and indicated that he was impressed by the likes of Andros Townsend, Ross Barkley, Nathaniel Clyne, Ryan Mason and Harry Kane who all performed admirably for the visitors.
"It was a real match and we proved that working with everyone's sacrifice we can have great games," he told Rai Sport after the draw.
"Unfortunately the victory squirmed away at the end with that Townsend goal, but with time this Nazionale can only improve.
"England have many interesting young players and despite their age have been in the Premier League for a while.
"In Italy a youngster will struggle to find space in Serie A, but with time they too will help us raise the Nazionale back up."
