Italy PM Berlusconi: Beckham great for AC Milan

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has heaped praise on David Beckham ahead of tonight's Champions League second-leg clash at Manchester United.

Beckham, on-loan from Los Angeles Galaxy, makes an emotional return to United for the first time since 2003.

“He has played a lot in Manchester and will want to do himself proud in front of his old fans," said the Italian PM.

“Beckham is always important for the geometry that he gives to the play and for his tactical intelligence.”
