Italy U21 boss Devis Mangia has left Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin out of his Euros squad.

Perin has starred on-loan at Pescara this season.

"I've left Perin at home and Mattia knows the reason why," Mangia told the Corriere dello Sport.

"Seeing as I have chosen Francesco Bardi as my first choice, I didn't want to create a dualism between the two of them."
