Italy coach Ventura calls up Villarreal striker Sansone

Italy coach Giampiero Ventura has included Manchester United fullback Matteo Darmian in his latest squad.

Ventura has called in Nicola Sansone, Domenico Criscito, Alessio Romagnoli and Darmian for Italy's World Cup qualifiers with Spain and Macedonia.

Sansone is brought in after a wonderful start to his career at Villarreal, the 25-year-old scoring four goals in six Liga games. The former Sassuolo man does already have one senior Italy cap to his name, but was left out of Euro 2016.
