Italy coach Cesare Prandelli admits AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli must learn from his red card.

The striker blew his top on Twitter after he was sent off for two bookings in three minutes during Friday night's 0-0 World Cup qualifier in the Czech Republic.

"In all honesty, I preferred today's tweet," Prandelli told the ANSA news agency.

"Over the next few days we will also have the opportunity to discuss how players should use Twitter.

"Mario has to understand that, like all great players, he will always be provoked and mustn't lose his calm."
