Italy coach Marcello Lippi has assured Sampdoria striker Antonio Cassano that he is in his plans.

"Cassano? All players from 18 to 40 have to prove themselves and dream of a place in the Italy side," said Lippi, who also spoke of Juventus striker Amauri's situation.

"I will only consider him when he has Italian citizenship, not before. I only work in the technical side of the sport."
