Italy coach Marcello Lippi refuses to justify leaving Sampdoria striker Antonio Cassano out of his squad.

"You know that I will only talk about the players who are present," Lippi insisted as today's Press conference.

"I don't have to explain my choices. I have my convictions and I don't need to justify them.

"I will simply say that he hasn't been left out because he is arrogant," he concluded.
