Italy coach Marcello Lippi has named several new faces in his squad for their games against the Republic of Ireland and Montenegro.
Pasquale Foggia, Salvatore Bocchetti, Marco Motta, Giampaolo Pazzini and Matteo Brighi are all in Lippi's squad.
Pazzini has scored eight goals in as many games since joining Sampdoria in January and was on target again today for a 3-1 win at Torino.
Bocchetti has impressed in the Genoa defence, while Motta has been a revelation for Roma after a midseason switch from Udinese.
Foggia is not a senior debutant, as he already has two caps with the Azzurri from 2007, but returns following his fine form for Lazio.
Brighi was called by current Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni for a friendly against Slovenia.
