Cesare Prandelli will give Mario Balotelli his full support if the Italy striker is subjected to racial abuse at this summer's Euro2012 Championship.

There are fears that racism could be an issue in Poland and Ukraine in June with Italy manager Prandelli set to defend the Manchester City forward if anything untoward happens to come his way.

"In the case that Balotelli is a target of racial boos, we will all step out on the pitch from the bench," Prandelli told a press conference.

"We will do something for Mario should that case arise."
