Italy boss Prandelli to evaluate Man City's Balotelli

Italy manager Cesare Prandelli says he will evaluate striker Mario Balotelli ahead of this summer's European championships.

The Manchester City striker was sent off for two bookable offences in Sunday's 1-0 loss at Arsenal but Prandelli says neither yellow card breached his code of ethics, suggesting he is still a chance to be a part of his squad in Poland and Ukraine.

"I saw his sending off, but this time it was for a foul that was part of the game," he told Eurosport.

"I do not think the code of ethics can be applied in this particular situation.

"I will calmly evaluate his position as far as the squad for Euro 2012 is concerned, but I repeat, his dismissal was for a foul that was part of the game."
