Italian trio circle for Man City outcast Tevez

Italian clubs are circling for Manchester City outcast Carlos Tevez.

The People says AC Milan last week joined Inter Milan and Juventus in privately expressing a desire to talk to Tevez and his advisors once his City dispute is resolved. A return to South America, Tevez's publicly stated wish, appears out of the question because Boca Juniors and Corinthians, his two likeliest destinations, would struggle to meet a transfer fee City will set - in the region of £15-£20million.

While a cut in his £200,000-a-week wage at City seems inevitable given his troubles in Manchester, Tevez will still demand a high salary, especially if he joins one of the Milan clubs or Juventus.

Milan and Inter have already registered an interest in Tevez although no talks have taken place.

And Juventus boss Antonio Conte is also keen to take him in January - although the Turin club are outsiders for his signature.
