Italian PFA president Damiano Tommasi says Parma's players need their wages secured.
Giampietro Manenti was named new owner and president of Parma today.
"The players need to be protected," Tommasi declared.
"We don't want to leave room for the slightest suspicion, I think it's fair to raise the level of attention we're paying to this situation.
"We can't let people come into our system to conduct their business.
"The situation is constantly changing, we're in the dark. 15 days ago we [the AIC] met the President, two weeks ago the team. Now there's a new owner.
"The team expects answers which have not yet arrived, we know that the deadline [to pay wages] is February 16."
