Italian Federation boss Giancarlo Abete says they are waiting for Juventus striker Amauri to announce which international team he intends to play for.

Reacting to Amauri's claims yesterday that he had decided between Italy and Brazil, Abete said: "On Amauri, I reaffirm the position of our association: we leave the choice to the player.

"We must give priority to the will of the player, then we must also expect the assessments from Dunga as coach of the Brazilian national team."
