Manchester City have reportedly made an initial approach for Italian defender Leonardo Bonucci, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. Bonucci has impressed at Bari in the first half of this season after moving to the San Nicola on a co-ownership deal from Genoa last summer.
The paper further claims that the City directors have already contacted both clubs to enquire about the player's availability.
