'It was a very bad tackle' - Man Utd boss on Shaw injury

Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has said that Hector Moreno's tackle on Luke Shaw did not look good.

The United defender suffered a double fracture in his leg as a result of the tackle from the PSV Eindhoven player and is likely to miss up to six months.

"If I say it is a penalty and a red card I am a bad loser, every word is interpreted in the wrong way," van Gaal said.

"But it was a very bad tackle with two legs."

Mexico international Moreno slid in on Shaw in the 15th minute of his side's eventual 2-1 win over United, but unfortunately caused serious damage to the 20-year-old, who required oxygen while on the Philips Stadion before being stretched off 10 minutes later.
