Luis Enrique has declared he will leave Barcelona at the end of this season.

Enrique made the announcement after their 6-1 victory over Sportng Gijon.

The coach had informed the players of his decision before making the revelation at the end of the post-match media conference.

"I want to finish this press conference differently. I announce that I will not be coach of the club next season," he declared.

He also acknowledged that "It is a difficult decision, but thoughtful, very thoughtful, " adding further that "Three exciting months remain".

Enrique's Barca deal expires at the end of this season.

With Barca, he has won two Liga titles, two King's Cups and a Spanish Super Cup nationally, as well as a Champions League, a Club World Cup and an international European Super Cup.
