IT JUST AIN’T HAPPENING: Liverpool keeper Vigouroux concedes five as Swindon falter at Fleetwood

Lawrence Vigouroux's loan spell with Swindon Town from Liverpool continues to stutter along.

Saturday's 5-1 loss to fellow strugglers Fleetwood Town was a new low for the Robins who were fresh off a 2-1 win over Scunthorpe United last week.

The five goals put past Swindon has Vigouroux's record at 29 goals conceded in 16 League One outings as the Wiltshire club sit third bottom on the tier three table.

The English-born Chilean was beaten by an own-goal in the 34th minute before upending David Ball prompting referee Darren England to point to the penalty spot. Vigouroux continued to argue with the match official who then brandished a yellow card before Antoni Sarcevic beat him from 12 yards.

David Henen, on loan from Everton, fired beyond 22-year-old Vigouroux in the 64th minute to make it 3-0.

Vigouroux suffered the misfortune of another unlucky goal when Tarique Fosu's effort was deflected past him by Southampton loanee Jordan Turnbull before Fleetwood sub Robert Grant curled a delightful ball over the keeper's head from outside the area to complete the romp.
