Isaksson admits seeking Man City exit

Manchester City keeper Andreas Isaksson has admitted he is looking to move on before the transfer window closes.

The Sweden international joined City in the summer of 2006 but had limited opportunities in his first season due to a succession of injuries.

Isaksson admits he has become frustrated and has already spoken to Eriksson about leaving.

The 26-year-old is open to the possibility of a loan move but would prefer a permanent transfer.

"I am trying to find a new club but nothing has happened thus far," Isaksson told Expressen.

"That is not fun. I must play, I feel a bit strange if I don't.

"It is the manager who decides and there is not much to say about that. My relationship with Sven is okay.

"He understands that I want to leave. Then, there are always negotiations between the clubs before an eventual deal.

"If a loan option comes up, I will see. But I would like to be bought by a good club who wants me and who play in a good league.

"I feel myself that it has gone well when I have had chances but obviously I am disappointed that I didn't get to continue (in goal)."
