Everton assistant boss Alan Irvine says management are delighted with teenage striker Victor Anichebe.

The forward is still available to England after ducking out of Saturday's friendly for Nigeria in London and Irvine told evertonTV: "Vic has made a huge impression and a big, big difference when he has come on. He is a handful, there's no doubt about that.

"When you have played for three quarters of the game against something different, then Victor comes on, it is a big challenge for defenders, especially in Europe where they may not know too much about him. Yet."
