West Bromwich Albion boss Alan Irvine believes they can continue to grow their influence in the transfer market.
Irvine says former club Everton can be an example.
"There are six big, big clubs who are ahead of everyone else and blow everyone else away," he said.
"Then there is Everton who didn't have the money for years, but through good management and great decisions, are in that bracket too.
"That's where clubs like ourselves have to aim for. With long-term management you can make progress."
