Javier Irureta is interested in the vacant manager's job at Bolton Wanderers.

The former Deportivo La Coruna and Real Betis coach is currently a free agent and has always spoken of an ambition to work in England.

Bolton have already been rebuffed by Birmingham City and Leicester in approaches for Steve Bruce and Gary Megson respectively.
