Javier Irureta remains keen on the vacant manager's job at Bolton Wanderers.

The Guardian says Irureta, who led Deportivo la Coruna to five top-three finishes in La Liga, is a darkhorse for the Trotters post.

Sources in Spain say Irureta has long wanted to manage in England and believe he may already have had some contact with Bolton.
