Bolger, 16, turned down offers from Liverpool, Manchester City, Aston Villa, Reading as well as Championship side Leicester City to sign for the Dons.

The striker currently turns out for Dublin juveniles St Kevin's Boys' Club but will complete his move to Aberdeen in the summer.

Dons chief scout Colin Grant confirmed: "Anthony has been in our system for the last 18 months and has often come across for training sessions.

"We're delighted he's agreed to join us especially with so many teams competing for his services."
