Ipswich insist they're yet to make a formal offer for Portsmouth striker David Nugent.
Town chief executive Derek Bowden has revealed the club have not made a firm move for Nugent, despite reports of a £5million bid.
"We have not made any formal offer for the player," Bowden told the club's official website.
