Ipswich Town striker David McGoldrick admits he could've joined Leicester City in the summer.
City made a bid, believed to be around £5million, for the Republic of Ireland international, but the deal fell through just before the transfer deadline as Ipswich wanted around £8m.
"I wouldn't say my head was turned, I was never banging down doors demanding to move," he told the Ipswich Star.
"It's like any job, though, if you get offered the chance to better your career you're always going to be thinking about it.
"I'm a Midlands lad. I could have lived in my house back there, one of my best mates, Wes Morgan, plays for them.
"I did think about it, it could have been a good move for me, but I never spat my dummy out. I've just knuckled down and got on with it."
