Ipswich Town are set to sign Jay Tabb on loan from Reading.
The 29-year old midfielder is wanted at Portman Road prior to the weekend's meeting with Peterborough United with Ipswich trying to push through a one-month loan deal with the Football League.
Tabb has fallen down the pecking order at the Madejski Stadium so will be keen to get out and experience regular first team football again and that is likely to come through the Tractor Boys who are sitting 19th on the Championship table, four points clear of the drop zone.
