Jonathan Douglas has been handed an exit route out of Brentford by Ipswich Town.
Douglas had been told that he was surplus to requirements at Brentford by manager Marinus Dijkhuizen after the midfielder had a falling out with the club hierarchy.
The 33-year-old has since been training with the Under-21 squad and is all but set to depart Brentford this summer.
Now according to reports from GetWestLondon, Douglas is on the verge of sealing his exit from Brentford by joining Ipswich ahead of the 2015/16 season.
