Ipswich Town have made a bid for Rangers midfielder Maurice Edu it has been confirmed.
The USA international is still looking to leave the Glasgow club, now competing in Scotland's Third Division, with manager Ally McCoist revealing that the Tractor Boys have made an official offer.
"There is nothing at the moment," he said on Edu's potential Ibrox departure.
"As far as I know, there has been an offer on the table from Ipswich which, as yet, he hasn't accepted.
"He trained this morning. I'm just hopeful something can be resolved sooner rather than later."
